See exactly what you get before you list. It’s on the board straight away.
The difference is card processing, paid by the buyer. QTickets takes nothing from you.
It lands in your Wallet straight away as a QR code: the same code Eventbrite issued, regenerated from the original. Show it at the door like any Eventbrite ticket.
Tap “Report a problem” on your pass. The seller isn’t paid until 12 hours after doors, so we can freeze the payout and refund you in full.
Each barcode can only be on QTickets once. If someone scans it before you, the door rejects it, you report it, you get your money back, and the seller gets nothing.
Sellers pay nothing. Buyers pay a small service fee that covers card processing, shown before you pay. QTickets doesn’t add a markup.
12 hours after the event starts, straight to your bank through Stripe, unless the buyer reports a problem. You set up payouts after your first sale, not before.
Anyone with a @queensu.ca email. You sign in with a code sent to that address, so every buyer and seller is a Queen’s student.
